About Sheringham park
Sheringham Park is under the control of The National Trust. The National Trust looks after special places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for ever, for everyone. Sheringham Park is seen as the most complete, best preserved, example of Humphry Repton’s work. He was commissioned by Abbot Upcher in 1812 to remodel the Sheringham landscape, presenting his proposals in his trademark Red Book.
Successive generations of the Upcher family continued to develop the estate broadly following Repton’s design.
Why CORE Lighting was present at Sheringham Park
The Repton bi-centenary Celebrations of Sheringham Park was the perfect place to test the capability of our improved products. We were also able to display our improved products to a large audience at Sheringham Park. Visitors found it astonishing that our products were able to illuminate such high trees. The various colour settings, used on our products, created special images.
